Alyssa, who recently started cutting herself. Though the cuts aren't
extremely deep, I would still like to help her to prevent her from
going to worse positions. I really care about her, and she's one of
my best friends, but I can't figure out why she's doing this to
herself. Her family life is great, her home life is great, she has
many many friends, and she seems happy all the time. Maybe she's
hiding it, but I have told her that if she ever needs someone to
talk to I'm always here for her. I would like some advice on how I
can help to prevent herself from cutting herself and injuring
herself even more. She said she doesn't want any help from anyone
because she says "people will think I'm insane." I told her that no
one needs to know but her, me, and whoever is helping her. Please,

>Sincerely, >Miriam Dear Joseph, Thanks for the help and support. Alyssa told me why she did it, and apparantly her father had left her and her mother when she was 6 months old. Her mom and her "step-dad" found out about it, and her mother is looking for her real father. She's doing a lot better now, and I just want to thank you for having this program!
