Personal Confession #2

Through skilful and godly wisdom is my house, my life, my home, my family built, and by understanding it is established on a sound and good foundation.

By knowledge are the chambers of my life, my home, my family and my house, filled with all precious and pleasant riches.

By knowledge I increase and strengthen my power.  I faint not in the day of adversity for my strength is great.

For I wait up the Lord, expect, look for, and hope in Him.  I change and renew my strength and power.  I lift up my wings and mount up close to God as eagles mount up to the sun.  I run and am not weary.  I walk and do not faint or become tired.

The Lord is my rock, my fortress, my deliverer, my God, my refuge, my shield, my horn of salvation, my strong-hold and my savior.  I can therefore run through a troop and leap over a wall.

I take away the dross from my life, that there shall come forth the best material for God to work with.

I cleanse myself from what is ignoble and unclean.  I separate myself from contact with contaminating and corrupting influences.  I am therefore becoming a vessel separate and useful for honorable and noble purposes, consecrated and profitable to the Master, fit and ready for any good work.

I shun youthful lusts and flee from them.  I aim and pursue righteousness, all that is virtuous and good, right living, in conformity to the will of God in thought, word and deed.  I purpose faith, love and peace which is harmony and concord with others.

I am not quarrelsome, fighting and contending but I am kind to everyone and mild-tempered, persevering the bond of peace.  I am a skilled and suitable teacher, patient, forbearing, and will to suffer wrong.

I correct my opponents with courtesy and gentleness that they may come to their senses and escape out of the snare of the devil.

The soft speech that comes out of my mouth breaks down the most bonelike resistance.

The words that I speak are fitly spoken and in due season, they are like apples of gold in a setting of silver.

Father, I thank you that Your Word has been given to us to that we may realize and enjoy fellowship with You, with Jesus and with the Holy Spirit.

Your supernatural joy is now complete and made full in our lives.

God is light and there is no darkness in Him at all.  Since my spirit is born of God, there is no darkness in my spirit.  I therefore allow my spirit to guide me, lead me, instruct me and prompt me into the ways of God.  I have a strong spirit and take control over my soul, my mind, my emotions, my feelings, and my body.  I bring them into subjection to my spirit.  The glory of God can then be manifested through me.  I radiate the very nature of God, the very life of God, the very light of God.  Nothing can hinder God’s Word from growing in me and working in my life.  I walk in the light.  There is no darkness in me.

Father, I shine and am radiant with the glory o the Lord for my light has come and the glory of the Lord has risen upon me.

The glory of God is seen on me.  The Lord is to me an everlasting light and my God is my glory and my beauty.

All nations come to my light and kings come to the brightness of my rising.

I do not boast of myself and tomorrow for I do not know what a day may bring forth.

I lean on, trust and am confident in the Lord with all my heart and mind.  I do not rely on my own insight or understanding but in all that pertains to my life.  I know, recognize and acknowledge Him, and He directs, makes straight and plain my path.

The Holy Spirit leads me in the ways that I should go.  He counsels me privately with the wisdom of Almighty God.  He lives in me, is forever with me and continually talks to me.

As the Father has loved me, so do I love everyone I come in contact with.  I forgive and forget.  I give, I bless, I minister, and I speak words that minister life, peace, joy and love.  I become as the weak so that they may become strong.  I lay down my life for my friends.
