Heb. 11:1  Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of
   what we do not see.
Heb. 11:6  And without faith it is impossible to please God, because
   anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he
   rewards those who earnestly seek him.
Heb. 12:1,2  Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud
   of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders, and the sin that
   so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked
   out for us.
James 1:2-4  Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face
   trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith
   develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you
   may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

James 4:10  Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.
1 Peter 5:6,7  Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand,
   that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him
   because he cares for you.
1 Pet. 5:10  And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal
   glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself
   restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.
1 John 1:9  If we confess our sins, he faithful and just and will forgive
   us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
1 John 4:18  There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear,
1 John 5:12  He who has the son has life; he who does not have the
   Son of God does not have life.
