Wife’s Prayer For Her Husband

Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank you for giving me my husband. I have received him and now pray Your Word over him, wherever he is right now.

I thank You Father that my husband has received from You skill, godly wisdom and instruction, understanding and insight into Your Word. My husband increases in learning and he attains to sound counsels so that he may be able to steer his course rightly.

Because he gives heed to Your Word, You pour upon him Your spirit of wisdom and You make Your words known to him.

The spirit of the Lord rests upon my husband, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord. You make him of quick understanding, and his delight is in the fear of the Lord. He does not judge by the sight of his eyes, neither decide by the hearing of his ears; but with righteousness and justice does he judge the poor, he decides with fairness for the meek.

His righteousness in Christ Jesus is the girdle of his waist and faithfulness is the girdle of his loins.

My husband receives and treasures up Your commandments in his spirit. He makes his ear attentive to skillful and godly wisdom. He cries out to You Lord for insight and he raises his voice for understanding.

Out of my husband’s mouth come knowledge and understanding. Wisdom is in his heart and knowledge is pleasant to him.

Discretion watches over him and understanding keeps him; it delivers him from the way of evil men and women and from them who speak perverse things and of liars.

My husband finds favor, good understanding and high esteem in the sight of God and man.

He honors the Lord with his capital and sufficiency, with his capital and sufficiency, with the first fruits of all his income; so then his storage places are filled with plenty and his oats are overflowing with new wine.

My husband walks on his way securely and he does not dash his foot of stumble.

Father, I am submissive to my own husband. I adapt myself to him. I conduct myself in a pure and modest way with reverence for my husband. I respect him, honor him, esteem him, praise him, am devoted to him; I am deeply in love with him and enjoy him fully.

My husband loves the inward adorning and beauty of my hidden person of the heart, which is of an incorruptible and unfading charm and of a gentle and peaceful spirit.

My husband and I are both precious in the sight of God.

My husband lives considerately with me, with an intelligent recognition of the marriage relation, honoring me as physically the weaker, but realizing that we are joint heirs of God’s grace, in order that our prayers be not hindered.

We are of the same mind, united in spirit, sympathizing with one another, loving each other, compassionate, courteous, tenderhearted and humble-minded.

We bless one another, pray for one another, happiness and protection.

Above all things, my husband and I have intense and unfailing love for one another; we forgive and disregard each other’s offences, for love covers a multitude of sins and love never fails.

My husband is a spiritual leader of the church. He is an example, a pattern and a model of Christian living to all believers.

My husband’s love is better than wine. The odor of his ointment is fragrant; his name is like perfume poured out. He is beautiful, my love; he has beautiful doves’ eyes. His love is waved as a protecting and comforting banner over my head.

O my love, how beautiful he is. There is no flaw in him. His confident words always thrill my being.

My beloved husband is fair and ruddy, the chief among ten thousands. His head is precious as the most fine gold. His eyes are as doves beside the water brooks, bathed in milk and fitly set.

His cheeks are as a bed of spices or balsam, as bans of sweet herbs yielding fragrance. His lips are like blood-red anemones or lilies, distilling liquid myrrh.

His hands are as rods of gold, set with nails of beryl or topaz. His body is a figure of bright ivory overlaid with veins of sapphire.

His legs are as strong and steady pillars of marble set upon bases of fine gold; his appearance is like Lebanon, excellent, stately and majestic as the cedars.

His voice and speech are exceedingly sweet; yes he is altogether lovely, the whole of him delights and is precious. This is my beloved, and this is my friend.

I am my beloved’s and he is mine.

I am my beloved’s and his desire is toward me. Many waters cannot quench the love I have for my husband, neither can floods drown it.

I love my husband with a supernatural love.
