If you are struggling
with suicidal thoughts, I can relate to where you are. I had suicidal
episodes 6 years ago. I made
4 attempts on my life, the last one
should have worked, but I was miraculously
spared. I was admitted into the local psychiatric ward on 3
separate occasions, for a total of 9
weeks plus 4 weeks in the rougher regional facility. A ray of hope
began to shine during my 3rd week in the regional facility, and my
journey toward wellness began. I won't go into
detail as to what I've learned through all of this. I just want to
say one thing, "God loves you." and "God wants you to be well." I am
utterly convinced of this. Because of what I went through, and what
I put my wife and two daughters through, I have an unquenchable
passion to help others avoid the pain I experienced, and the pain I
caused my loved ones. Shortly after my discharge from the hospital,
I began learning how a person recovers from depression and anxiety.
And I began writing the things I was learning. The result is this
website, and another website which hosts a step-by-step
anxiety-treatment program I wrote. I cannot say I've studied
psychology, but I can say, "I've been there. And I've recovered."
