Contact Us

To help people recover from anxiety and depression, we use a combination of personal and telephone coaching sessions, as well as the use of books, cassette tapes, vcd's and dvd's. If you are interested in getting help, please click here and send us your name and phone number, and we'll call you this evening. You can expect a reply from emails in the early mornings.

While you are waiting to contact us, you can help yourself by turning your attention away from your problems by directing your mind to think positive thoughts. We recommend you focus your attention on God's Word. Below are a selection of key Bible verses you can use. By printing the 4 pages below onto card stock, you will end up with five 3" X 5" cards (printed both sides) which you can take with you wherever you go. The best way is to memorize these verses, but you can also just read them, but say them out loud, as it will strengthen your spirit by you hearing yourself speak them. Fortunately your mind can't think of two things at once, thus by using these verses you will both take your attention away from your problems, and you will help develop your own personal faith.

Here are some more tips on developing your spiritual strength. Realize that God does not usually respond to begging, but you get his full attention when you react in faith. Thus, let us work on your faith. May I suggest you begin a new habit of reading God's Word. I recommend you begin a habit of meeting with God every day at the same time for 30 minutes or more. And that you read a Bible (an easy to understand version, the NIV (New International Version is good). Read a chapter in Proverbs (There are 31 chapters in Proverbs, one for each day of the month). Read a chapter in the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke or John), and read a chapter in the New Testament Epistles from Romans onward. If you have time read a chapter in the Old Testament as well beginning in Genesis. Will this take the emotional pain away immediately? Likely not, but you are setting yourself up slowly for success in the future. Likely by now you have been setting yourself up for failure by the things you are doing or not doing, so begin to change all that by starting some good habits. Another thing to help yourself is to complete this Bible Quiz.

Another Suggestion
Once you make contact with me, may I suggest you find some way to tape record our talks and replay them often. Romans 10:17 says that "Faith comes by hearing and be hearing the Word of God." Speak God's Word yourself, listen to it being taught through tapes and cd's, and your faith will develop.

Accountability Sheet
A good tool to assist you in your recovery is to use our bi-weekly Accountability Sheet. You may choose to become accountable to a friend using this sheet as a gauge as to how you are helping yourself get well emotionally. To go to the Accountability Sheet, click here. Be sure to print it using the 'Landscape' setting on your printer.

Recovery Song
If this website had to choose a theme song, it would be the song 'Rest' by Steve Green. To play a sound clip of it, click here, and then click on "Play Sound Clip'. Get the whole version of it and play it over and over.
